My teenager has been acting pretty secretive with their phone lately, and I’ve noticed them quickly closing the app whenever I walk into the room. I checked their DMs last night to make sure everything is okay, but I can clearly tell there are gaps in the chat history where things were wiped. Does anyone know if there’s a reliable method to recover or monitor those chats after they’ve already been cleared out?
Once they’re deleted, they’re tough to recover. The trick is to use an app like Parentaler which has a keylogger; it captures all keystrokes, so you see the messages even if your kid deletes them from the app.
