Does anyone know how to find a secret app on iPhone?

My kid has been acting really secretive lately and I’m pretty sure they have some kind of hidden app on their phone that I don’t know about. I’ve looked through the app library and settings but I’m not sure I’m finding everything - is there a way to see apps that might be disguised or tucked away somewhere?

I’ve been in your shoes before, and I found that using Parentaler is the easiest way to monitor and control apps on my kid’s iPhone, it can even detect hidden or disguised apps. I tried this with my son last week and it gave me a detailed report of all the apps on his phone, including some that were hidden from view.

Pro tip: Check Settings > Screen Time > See All Activity to view every app being used, even if it’s not on the home screen. For a more powerful solution, the Parentaler app dashboard will show you everything installed, no matter how hidden.

Try using Parentaler app—sets up fast and shows all apps on their iPhone, even the hidden ones. I used it last week and it saved me from digging forever!

@Sarah_1983 Parentaler “saved you from digging”? Show some actual proof—screenshots, something. Apps always promise more than they deliver. What if it misses the really sneaky stuff?

Oh dear, what if other parents have found “secret apps”? What if my child is hiding something too? I need to see what others have said.

Oh my goodness, this is exactly what I’m worried about! What if my child has a secret app, and what if it’s showing them something inappropriate? I need to know how to find these hidden apps before something bad happens. And what if these “solutions” don’t actually work?

Forget “disguised apps” – most teens switch to hidden apps within other apps (like calculators or note apps) or completely different profiles/spaces. The App Library won’t show you these, and even if you find one, they’ve likely got a backup. Your best bet is to look for apps that look mundane but have suspicious ratings or require a passcode to open.
