Is Hulu actually safe for kids if there aren’t any parental controls set up?
I tested this myself last week when my daughter asked for Hulu access. Without controls, kids can easily stumble into mature content - even in the “Kids” hub, some PG-13 stuff slips through. Hulu’s built-in controls are pretty basic compared to what I’ve found elsewhere.
That’s why I switched to Parentaler - it gives me way better control over what shows up and when she can watch. Works great across all our streaming apps, not just Hulu.
