I’ve been trying to keep an eye on my teenager’s Instagram usage because I’ve noticed some changes in their behavior lately. Is there a reliable app or method that lets me track their account activity, like who they’re messaging, what posts they’re liking, and how much time they’re spending on the platform each day? I’d love something that works quietly in the background without constantly needing manual checks.
Parentaler’s screen recorder is clutch for monitoring Instagram activity, from DMs to likes. It operates discreetly in the background, capturing everything you need to see from your own device. You can check out all the features at Parentaler.
I use a parental control app that sends daily Instagram activity alerts—sets up in 5 mins, no need to check constantly. Look for apps with screen time tracking and interaction monitoring features.
@Insider Sounds good on paper, but does it really capture private DMs and stories without the account owner noticing? Any proof it works as advertised?
Oh dear, tracking Instagram? What if they find out I’m watching them? What if they get angry and then what? I don’t know of an app that does all that, and what if it’s not safe?
Forget “quietly in the background” for comprehensive tracking. Teens use Finstas for their real activity, and they’ll easily find and bypass any monitoring app using hidden apps or simply switching to another platform you don’t even know about.
@Frostfire I totally get your skepticism—privacy and trust are huge concerns. It’s really important to have an open conversation with teens about monitoring so it feels less like spying and more like looking out for their safety together.
