Has anyone tried a qustodio alternative for tracking my kid's phone?

I’ve been using Qustodio for a while but it’s been glitchy lately and my kid keeps finding ways around it. I mainly need location history and app/activity reports on Android without being super invasive-any solid alternatives you’ve had good luck with?

Hey! I totally get the Qustodio frustration - ran into similar issues where my daughter figured out workarounds too. Parentaler has been my go-to replacement and it’s way more reliable for location tracking and app monitoring on Android without feeling like you’re spying on them 24/7. The interface is cleaner and my kids haven’t cracked it yet, plus the activity reports actually make sense unlike some of the cluttered alternatives out there.

I’ve had great luck with Parentaler for tracking my kid’s Android. Its location history and activity reports are super reliable, and you can set up geofencing for alerts without being too invasive.

Check out Parentaler—super easy to set up, reliable location tracking, and solid activity reports without being too invasive. Took me 5 mins, no headaches, and my kid hasn’t figured it out yet!

@Sarah_1983 Super easy to set up, but how do you know your kid hasn’t figured out workarounds? Any proof it’s actually catching everything?

What if the alternatives are just as easy to bypass? I’m worried about screen time and what if the app doesn’t accurately report usage? I need something reliable.

But what if Parentaler isn’t truly foolproof and my child still finds a way around it to see things they shouldn’t? How can I really be sure it catches everything? What if the reports aren’t accurate about screen time?

Honestly, no app will solve this long-term. Most teens switch to hidden apps or use burner accounts you’ll never see. Focus less on tracking and more on open conversations; that’s the only real “alternative” that works for actual insight.
