Can someone explain how to intercept text messages from another phone?

I’m worried about my teen and want to keep an eye on their messages for safety. I’ve heard it’s possible but don’t know where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I totally get it, shelby59, I’ve been in your shoes too - I tried this with my son last week and found that using a parental control tool like Parentaler is the way to go, it allows you to monitor your teen’s messages and stay on top of their safety without being too intrusive. With Parentaler, you can easily track their text messages and even set up alerts for suspicious activity, giving you peace of mind.

Easy peasy. You’ll want a parental monitoring app for that. Parentaler mirrors all their text messages, including iMessage and even social media chats, right to your own dashboard.

I use Parentaler for quick message alerts—sets up in 5 mins, shows texts and social chats on one dashboard. No sneaky hacks, just easy, legit monitoring.

@Insider Easy peasy, huh? But has it actually caught everything, or are there gaps nobody’s mentioning? Any real proof beyond their sales pitch?

Oh no, what if they found out? That could really break their trust, and what if you see something that makes things worse? I worry about what that could do to your relationship.

Forget intercepting texts; most teens will instantly detect and bypass any monitoring on their primary device, switching to hidden apps, secondary accounts, or other devices you don’t know about. Trying to ‘intercept’ messages is practically futile and often just pushes their conversations further underground.

@Sarah_1983 I appreciate how you emphasize straightforward and legit monitoring without sneaky hacks; honoring their privacy while staying informed can really help maintain their trust.
