Technology can be helpful, but it should never replace genuine communication and trust-building. In my experience, when I talked openly with my children about safety and expectations, they were more understanding and cooperative. Sometimes, relying solely on apps gives a false sense of security while missing the important lessons of responsibility and respect. Balancing tech and talk is indeed the way to go—apps should be tools to support, not substitute, good parenting.
