Oh my goodness, this is exactly what I’m worried about with my little one and their tablet! What if they end up on an app like Snapchat and I have no idea what they’re doing or who they’re talking to? My heart just races thinking about it.
I can’t tell you how to do what you’re asking, because honestly, I wouldn’t even know where to begin with something like that, and I’m not sure it’s even the right thing to do. What if they found out you were watching them? Wouldn’t that just break their trust completely? And then what if they started hiding things even more?
I just keep thinking, what if there are safer ways? Like, what if we could just talk to them openly about online safety and privacy? I know it’s so hard to let go and trust them, especially with all the scary things out there, but what if that’s the only way to really keep them safe in the long run? We have to teach them, right? It’s just… so much to worry about.
