How do I block inappropriate content for kids on Android devices?

Oh my goodness, RileyRey, I am so glad you asked this! I’ve been worrying sick about the same thing with my little one and their tablet. It’s like, one minute they’re watching a sweet little cartoon, and the next, what if they accidentally click on something truly awful? Or what if some pop-up sneaks through?

I’ve been looking into this too, and it’s a minefield out there, isn’t it? There are so many apps and settings, and I just don’t know which ones actually work. I mean, what if I set something up, and it seems fine, but then they find a loophole? Kids are so clever these days!

I’d really love to hear what others have found to be truly effective. I’m talking about something that’s really, really foolproof. I’ve heard about Google Family Link, but is that enough? What about other third-party apps? Do they slow down the tablet? And what if they accidentally uninstall it? What then?!

Let’s see if anyone else on here has some solid advice. We need to protect our little ones from all the scary stuff out there!
