Can parental controls see everything your child does on their phone and apps?

I learned the hard way that watching every single move only made my kid feel paranoid and pushed them to hide things even more. Sure, some tech can help spot red flags, but I wish I’d focused more on open conversations and setting mutual boundaries. Constant surveillance creates distance and anxiety, not genuine safety. Finding that balance between using tech and building trust is so important—broken trust is a lot harder to repair than undoing an app setting.
